We are back in reality after two weeks of what turned out to be a great and fun filled trip. The weather cooperated and even the cold rain on Skye gave it a Scottish tint. All of us really appreciate your help and expertise and the only disappointment is that we did not get to meet you.
But we will return. As a matter of fact, Craig told us about the trail that follows the railroad Glasgow to Inverness and we would love to hike the entire length within the foreseeable future. So, thanks again from all of us and all the best,

Nigel, thank you so much for a wonderful day in Scotland! We really enjoyed meeting you and walking in the footsteps of our MacEwan
ancestors. Michael and I agreed this was our favorite day of the whole 3 week trip. The weather was spectacular and the countryside just
beautiful. The itinerary was just perfect and we appreciate the research you did regarding our Ewing and MacEwan ancestors.
Thank you so much for making this day so special for us!

Re: Self-Drive Tour of Scotland and Ireland. All in all a great trip and we can't thank you enough for all of your help. We would happily recommend you to anyone looking to come to the UK. We really appreciated your help and ongoing concern we felt you were only a phone call or email away if we needed you which of course we didn't! But it was a comfort to us to know we could contact you if we did.

Hi Nigel
I endorse Benjie's comments and thank you again for being such a considerate and knowlegable guide
It must have been difficult dealing with a bunch of "Alta Kakas" (AK's for short) - translated this means "old buggers" or something like that anyway
Once again - many thanks and good luck
